Parents married 70 yrs sex stopped after first 4 yrs of marriage. So that's no sex for 66 years unreal. Father narc. All he wanted was a slave. Never even went to see her when in hospital different times.

Is there any kind of support out there that doesn’t cost money or require membership. The narcissist rob you blind you’re left with absolutely nothing!!! No money, friends, home, dignity, job, family, help, resources, nothing! They take/steal what they want and get away with it while the victim is scrambling to even find a soul to talk to because they’ve isolated you from everyone! There needs to be systemic change by raising awareness by educating the masses.

Other narcissist therapists say you should state your boundaries to them by saying “if you do this, I’m going to do that”. If you’re going to call me names or start an argument with me, I’m going back to my room.

Therapists have found out that they can make a nice income off the suffering of others and they are building themselves nice homes, nice lifestyles and it’s a comfy job , it’s very few that really care, so ultimately you have to do your own trauma healing. You can be in that chair a lifetime without change.

I was never enough for my ex. From the start, she told me she would rather be married to somebody "better".

You said it perfectly! Finally I hear it in a way that I can grasp and accept. I have retreated from my narc, blocked him on the cell, and refuse to take his calls on the landline because I couldn't handle the abuse anymore. I did speak my boundaries to him, many, many times, and I can remember one time in which after doing so, he went into gales of laughter! Never having been in a romantic relationship with a narc before, it took a while to figure out what the problem was. I just want to say, your method of explaining this boundary situation resonated in my soul and thank you so much!! Now I can continue with my silent boundaries, but feeling validated in what I'm doing and not feeling full of regret and feelings of what if......

I was raised in a narcissistic family cult and use religious beliefs and I have complex trauma because of narcissistic abuse and I’ve been through grief and loss my narcissistic mother 4 years ago too cancer and lost my grandpa a year ago now my grandma has cancer which she is a narcissistic too I’ve been the scapegoat of my narcissistic family and shame blamed and shunned and gaslighted by my narcissistic family members narcissistic family betrayal trauma too and emotional abuse I have battled addictions mental illness too PTSD too I’ve been called a devil a liar crazy you don’t know what your saying and that it’s all in my head and I e been emotional abused

Right on. They remind me of my kid when he was a teenager. They don't understand that they have created their own misery but always have someone else to blame. It's horrible to stay around because they hate you while pretending that you are the love of their life. So disconnected and their drug comforts them in this mess. 😮

the lack of an authentic sense of self is noted clinically with that behavior disorder. and if you look back, that was socially programmed into people. choose a false identity, put on a mask, feeling are bad (hence no psychological emotional intelligence or development), etc. so as we individually heal, we are also transforming the socialization that contributes to this disorder spectrum.
